Baby's Portraits
Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 10:03AM There is a saying that you should never work with babies or animals. I guess because they are unpredictable and you never know what's going to happen. I suppose it is that very reason why we like it - that unpredictability makes it challenging and always different which is something that helps to keep us motivated and our imagery fresh. Of course that said it also means that sometimes little people don't co-operate and really there's nothing that you can do about that - I've tried reasoning with Oscar (our little guy) but at 3 weeks that has met with limited success.
As our baby program develops we'll be shooting a lot of babies so we won't be posting every time we do a shoot, there just isn't enough time. What we will do though is post a selection from the different shoots we do each month.
So here's a couple of babies we've met over the last few weeks. Baby Isla who is Heather and Dennis's first child was also my first baby shoot with Christa on her (very) limited maternity leave. We then shot Ryan whose parents are Jen and Alex. He slept right through the shoot and we were able to get some great shots of him. So here they are, Ryan and Isla. (Ryan is the little guy who's asleep with all the hair.) To see a few more click here or on the photograph below.
