Clare & Matt's Scottish Wedding

Last week we were away in Scotland.  Both Christa and I love going there, in fact we've said before if we didn't live here in Canada, Scotland would be our second choice.  So we were really happy to be invited to Pittodrie House just out side of Inverurie to celebrate Clare and Matt's wedding. We got to know Clare and Matt whilst we were working on Cruise Ships, Clare was a fellow photographer and Matt an engineer.  Clare and Matt were at our wedding almost five years ago so it was lovely to be able to return the favour.  

Scotland is not known for it's great weather but for some reason we always seem to be lucky when we're there and this time was no exception.  The day of the wedding was beautiful. Of course the bright sunlight made for some tricky lighting but it really was a treat to see Clare and Matt married outside in the beautiful grounds of this magnificent building that has a 600 year old heritage. 

Clare is a wedding photographer back in the UK so no pressure photographing this... Christa was doing double duty, bridesmaid and photographer... here's some of our favourites from the day.
