Joanna's Maternity Session

There is something pretty incredible about a woman who is pregnant.  The fact of a new life growing inside her is, to me as a soon to be dad, amazing. There is beauty in that fact alone but it is also complimented by the physicality of the pregnancy. Many women feel uncomfortable and ungainly as they head towards their due date but they can and often do look fabulous. We received this comment after one of our shoots "We just checked out the maternity shots and they are amazing! I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the images were because I definitely don't feel so beautiful these days!" 

Our latest maternity shoot was with Joanna and Jonathan. We had the pleasure of shooting their wedding back in the summer of 2008. When they found out that they were expecting their first baby they were eager to come and work with us again which is a lovely compliment.  The shoot was a lot of fun and I really love this image of Joanna her expression is fantastic and she looks beautiful.
