Kristen & Ben; Pre-Wedding Workshop

Another one of our couples from this summer stopped by last week for one of our pre-wedding workshops. We call them workshops because it's a chance for our couples to get used to how we work, being photographed and directed as well as an opportunity for us to see how best to work with them.  Some people need a lot of direction, some little.  Some clients respond favourably to my bad jokes many do not. All of this is good to know going into a wedding and means that we'll be able to make the most of the usually limited time we have on their day.

Ben admitted to a little apprehension going into the shoot but he turned out to be a natural and you'd not guess from the pictures. The two of them looked great together and here's the photographs to prove it. (Click on the image below or here to see more of the images.)

This is an image captured by our assistant Ed Mika who has joined Isis this spring. Ed is relatively new to wedding and portrait photography but his eye for an image as well as his enthusiasm to learn will mean that he'll be shooting his own weddings as an Isis Associate in no time at all.
