WPPI Accolade of Excellence

The WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) is one of the, if not the foremost photography association for Wedding and Portrait photographers. If you're interested you can read more about here. One of the many things they do is run competitions which are include 8x10 print competitions.  There are run twice yearly and photographers from around the world enter their images to be judged by other photographers.  It's a nerve racking experience putting your work up to be judged by your peers.  3 of our entries were judged to be worthy of an Accolade of Excellence, which we are very proud of.  Here are the 3 entries that qualified for the accolade.

This shot was taken of Michael in the limousine that was taking him to the church. Michael and Carina were married in Brampton last summer and live in New York.

This is Jeremy and his groomsmen.  Taken outside of the Westin Hotel in The Village at Blue, Collingwood. This was the only wedding last year where the rain fell heavily for most of the afternoon.  We got this shot shortly before the rain arrived.  Megan and Jeremy were married at the fabulous Georgian Bay Golf Club.

This picture of the rings by Christa was our highest scoring image.  These belong to Katie and Carlos who were married at Blue Mountain.  They live in Edmonton and have recently become parents for the first time.

Good stuff! Great images as well, if these were the mentions the winners must have been outstanding indeed!
