Annette & Michael's Most Excellent Day

(To see more images from the day click on the photograph or go to Photo Galleries.)

Annette and Michael were married in Collingwood in September.  Their  reception was at the Georgian Bay Club, which was our third trip there this summer.  We were hoping third time lucky as our previous visits had been wet and overcast.  So you can imagine our delight at the bright sunshine and blue skies.  The club really is located in a spectacular location which is evident when you visit on a day like this. Their wedding was quite early in the afternoon, which meant that we had lots of time for photographs.  The correlation between the amount of time you give the photographers and the quality of the photographs you receive is very much related. The more time allocated the better and more varied the selection.  It allows for a little risk taking which can result in some amazing images.  This wedding was also different because it was the first wedding we've shot where we didn't stay for the reception.  We did, however have an hour or so to shoot candid photographs and as the weather cooperated for a change the opportunity led to some great candid moments.  Of course the fact that it was such a beautiful occasion as well as an amazing location helped with smiles and laughter. We were made to feel very welcome. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.  It really was a pleasure shooting your day.  Thanks so much.
