Brandi and Burke
Brandi and Burke were married at the Hamilton Warplane Museum. We went as guests but still managed to get some great shots of these two.
-
Deb and Jay
Deb and Jay were married at Craighleith Ski Club. We then photographed them in and around The Village at Blue where they had spent a lot of time. We both remember lots of laughter at the wedding and really beautiful decorations that Deb had designed herself.
-
Katie & Rob
Another wedding at Criagleith this time with glorious weather. Photographs down by Georgian Bay with Katie and Rob looking like rockstars.
-
Deanne and Andrew
Deanne and Andrew were one of the first couples to book us for the season. There wedding was just outside Newmarket at the Waterstone Estates. It featured Deanne riding a horse bareback which is some feat in a wedding dress!
-
Lindsay and Daniel
Funnily enough a few weeks later we were back at the Waterstones Estates in Newmarket photographin Lindsay and Daniel. A few weeks after the wedding these two left Canada for a year teaching ESL in South Korea. It was a beautiful day and a great wedding.
-
Barbara and Shane
Barbara and Shane were married in Midland. It threatened to rain the whole day but never did, which was a relief for everyone.
-
Leah and Kris
Leah and Kris were married in his families back yard just outside of Barrie. His fathers house was all but finished which made for some great photographic opportunities especially inside. It rained really heavily the day before the wedding so everyone was a little nervous for the wedding day as they were to be married outside. That said the day itself was terrific. Kris and Leah win the prize for being our youngest clients this year. Oh and this photograph is one of my favourites from the whole year.
-
Craig and Janelle
The morning of the wedding there was thunder and lightning going on but by the ceremony it was clear blue skies. Their wedding held at Cobble Beach just outside Owen Sound qualifies as our favourite of the year... we've known Craig for over four years after working with him on ships and there is something special about being able to photograph a friends wedding especially when he is marrying someone like Janelle. :)
-
Anne and Paul
Anne and Paul were married in the United Church in Minesing with their reception at the Springwater Golf Course. Photographs were on a friends farm and made for some great shots. This was especially memorable as I shot this solo without my trusty wing woman... the only one this summer.
-
Megan and Jeremy
Megan and Jermey were married at the Georgian Bay Golf Club over looking Georgian Bay. It really is a spectacular venue and this was the first of three weddings we photographed there this year. Unfortunately for Meg and Jer is was also the worst weather we had all year... still managed to get some fab shots, this is another of my favourites from the year.
-
Anastasia and Maksim
Anastasia and Maksim were married a few weeks before the shoot. They asked us to take a few shots of them before their reception which they had at Tholos a Greek restaurant at The Village at Blue here in Collingwood. Again the rain threatened to ruin things but we managed to get some lovely photographs of the two of them. This shot is a favourite of Christa's.
-
Sharlene and Nathan
Another garden wedding Sharlene and Nathan were married on the shores of Georgian Bay. It was a beautiful day that included a paddle in a canoe and pictures in Meaford harbor.
-
Caitlin and Drew
This garden wedding was a little farther north, just the other side of Feversham. Drew and Caitlin had just returned from Korea teach ESL so there was a kind of symmetry to the year with Lindsay and Daniel going out there to do that. The fireworks were amazing, the most incredible private display we have ever seen. Made even more special by the fact that they nearly didn't happen at all due to rain.
-
Cynthia and Hernan
We travelled to Waterloo to photograph the renewal of vows of Cynthia and Hernan. The first time round their wedding had been a very modest affair and so this time they were determined to do it with style, and that they did.
-
Alexa and Shaun
Alexa and Shaun were married at the Alpine Ski Club on a beautiful summers day. This wedding was memorable for lots of reasons but to our mind it stood out as the best food experience of the summer! Shaun is a chef in Toronto and so the food was not only originally presented but also delicious.
-
Alan and Irene
Alan and Irene were married in Brampton. It was the first time we had shot there and although the wedding ceremony was well attended just under 300 people turned up for the party afterwards! Their wedding definately qualifies as the biggest party of the year.
-
Joanna and Jonathan
This was our second wedding at the Georgian Bay Golf Club. The weather was a little better for Joanna and Jonathan and we managed to get some lovely photographs of them at one of our favourite locations. Thier album was great with an absolutely fabulous cover.
-
Annette and Michael
Our third and final visit to the Georgian Bay Club was for the reception of Annette and Michael. They were married at St Mary's RC church in Collingwood. We then had a great time shooting photographs by Georgian Bay, in Thornbury and at the club.
-
Katie and Carlos
Katie and Carlos were married at the top of Blue Mountain. It was memorable as they were married in low cloud and rain which made for some cool photography but rather damp guests. Fortunately there was a lot of laughter and once we came down from the mountain it brightened up and we had fun shooting at several locations.
-
Angela and Jay
Angela and Jay were married at St Patrick's Church in Phelpson. The most tradtional of our weddings this year we non the less managed to get them into the woods for some photographs which turned out great.
-
Virginia and Matt
For this wedding we travelled up to Muskoka. We arrived with the trees in thier full autumnal glory. Thier wedding was at the Hidden Valley Resort and what a lovely place place to get married. We stayed for 2 nights and should have stayed longer!:)
-
Carina and Michael
Carina and Michael came back from New York to be married in Brampton at the same church as Irene and Alan. From there though we headed off to the Distillery District in Toronto for photographs. It was a little bizarre as we competed with at least five other photographers and their couples who were also there. The strong sunlight made for some dramatic photographs once we had found somewhere away from the crowds...
-
Maria and Brian
This was a small affair at the Falls Inn, so called as it sits besides Walters Falls. Maria and Brian hired us for a couple of hours to photograph the ceremony and then some shots of the two of them in the last of the fall colours.
-
Krista and Eric
Krista and Eric were married in Mississauga and then had their reception at the Glenciarns Golf club. This was the last wedding we shot this year. The golf club had locations which lent itself to some wonderful images. It was a great way to end the year.
